A LETTER TO MY DAUGHTER

Dear my daughter,

If one day you read this letter, then you must be in the process of growing up.

You will be busy pursuing what so-called beauty, concerning how you look and how you worth in people's eyes.

I will understand if you love pretty clothes, elegant dresses, bling-bling jewelries, nice shoes, cute accessories, (almost) every woman does.

I, of course, support you to look nice, and charming.

But I don't want you to forget, that...

your outer look should not be prettier than your heart,
your jewelries should not shine brighter than your smile,
your clothes should not be lovelier than your eyes,
your make-up should not be thicker than your wisdom,
your skin should not be softer than your gentleness,
your high heels should not be taller than your humility,
your cleavage should not be wider than your patience,
your treatment should not be more expensive than your generosity,
your skirt should not be shorter than your anger,

and your shape should not be more important than your health,
and your appearance should not be more important than your attitude.

that your worth is not seen from how many guys turn their heads when you walk in,
that your value is not defined by the physical beauty you choose to show,
that your preciousness is not measured by how people look at you.

So my beloved daughter,
I create woman beautifully, and I let you present yourself well,
but no matter how perfect (or not) you look outside,
always remember that what matters is inside.

Kiss and hug,
Your beloved Dad
